Theresa Luke, MS, LPC

Theresa Luke is a Licensed Professional Counselor with years of clinical experience working in a variety of settings including inpatient acute care and intensive outpatient care primarily with individuals with both psychiatric and substance use issues.  She holds an M.S. in Counseling, having successfully completed the CACREP (Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs) approved Masters in Counseling program from University of Southern Mississippi in 2011. She is a certified Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) therapist and a Yoga Alliance certified experienced yoga teacher (E-RYT) with 16 years of yoga teaching experience.


Theresa uses an approach that is eclectic, systemic, holistic, and is humanistic or “person-centered; She has great respect for the client’s autonomy and ability to discern their own path and solutions. Also, as a DBT therapist she utilizes a combination of cognitive behavioral techniques with mindfulness and acceptance strategies. Theresa loves to teach DBT skills group, mindfulness, and yoga and strives to make the curriculum engaging and enlightening.


DBT, mindfulness meditation, and yoga are not just therapy techniques for Theresa, but a worldview and personal passion! She has participated in multiple trainings, groups, meditation retreats, and yoga retreats. She is currently a member of the Empty Cloud Sanga, formerly led by Marsha Linehan, and currently led by DBT trainer and Zen Roshi Randy Wolbert.
